Lately, I have been really into slow mornings; I wake up early, do my dry brushing, take a long shower, and end it with a cup of tea before I rush to work because I am late. I truly enjoy those kind of mornings, as a good start often sets the tone for the rest of my day.
Don’t get me wrong, but I love turning my morning routine into an elaborate wellness retreat while getting myself ready – and so should you because you deserve it. Most recently, I have added fresh eucalyptus to my bathroom in order to bring a little zen into my shower life ;-))) Fresh eucalyptus is not only a cute looking detail to the bathroom, but the herb also releases healing and revitalizing essential oil when it interacts with the steam from the hot running water. As I have valued this little trick so much, I thought I wanted to share it with you.
What you need:
How to do it:
Gather fresh eucalyptus (potentially add lavender and/or thyme as you wish), and tie all ends
Secure it behind your shower head or somewhere else in your bathroom
As steam forms in the bathroom, it interacts with the herbs and realizes the essential oils
I hope this little trick will help you destress and bring some zen into your everyday mornings :-)
